Wow, time has passed very quickly, even more than I thought, to tell the truth I am somewhat happy, although I think the word “something” falls short, I am really happy for these 2 years I work on a project that began as a simple hobby in which I had no ideas about what content to do and I saw a fnaf project which I took inspiration to create what many know as FNaF Build & Decor, of course, at that time the name was not like that, it was something more like “FNAF Blocks”, a simple but great project at the same time, although what I never got to know at that time is that this project would completely change the MC Bedrock add-ons, at least the add-ons set in the fnaf theme since previously the custom of these was “realistic” with “detailed” models, a different stage than the current one, and this add-on seems to have completely changed this since so few days since it came out for the first time it became a success, even I didn’t even know I was expecting this

But here we are, wow, 2 years, that’s quite a long time, it even seems like it was yesterday that we celebrated the first anniversary of the add-on, to tell the truth in this timeline there are always evolutions, and this year the add-on has evolved too much, even more than we thought

Polar Frederick – DEV

Well I had joined the server originally to promote my multiplayer map and people kept asking me to turn those suits into a dlc and so I did FB&D wearable suits dlc it was popular so I put my map on hold and focussed more on the suits it gained traction fast and I even made friends with butter i had helped him with his dlc the forgotten ones and with his help I was able to become a insider and then a dev so honestly I owe me being a dev to butter
We all kinda knew each other before actually becoming devs we all helped each other to get to where we are now like how I helped forbidden with his dlc or how butter and forbidden helped me with my map camera man and a few others helped butter with his dlc and Krist help forbidden with his dlc

What I’m saying is we’ve all been through a lot but we’ve all been through it together

The truth is that for me this support that I have received lately has made me happy every day of my life, from bad or strange moments, I will always be grateful to you for supporting the add-on at all times, and I do not want to sound repetitive, but, I am really grateful for the great support!

Freddy Fazbear | Reworked

We start with something a little basic and recent, the early stage of Freddy Fazbear for FB&D Reworked, if you compare each of the images with the current Freddy you will notice that there are notable changes, such as the type of color of the hat or the more than 4 different types of face, which you could say that none of them were used and a different one was chosen

What other hidden feature is there in Freddy that is not publicly known?

Well… The texture of the new Freddy Fazbear is made up of 2D designs, yes practically sprites adapted to a 3D model, as can be seen in the following image, this is done in order to help skin creators better identify which part they are editing as well as giving them more freedom to edit the model and textures

STAGE SPOTLIGHTS – LIGHT EFFECT

To be honest, I don’t think I ever got to show this, or maybe I did, but in a somewhat absent-minded way. It turns out that this idea as such was already being worked on for a while. The problem with this is that this idea was somewhat ambitious and required some strange or more complex things to be executed, apart from the fact that the textures as such weren’t that… good…

Although before those curious concepts I had tried to do something like this, yes, it is really similar to the current one, the problem is that the lighting was annoying

SPRING TRAP

I’m not going to lie to you, making Spring Trap was a bit of a stretch… I practically had to look for good colors for the fleshy bits that the character had inside his suit, apart from also having to make withered details and adapt the color so that it looks a lot like the original game

Office lamp – LIGHT EFFECT

Even the office lamp had its changes, although these are more focused on the ray of light, practically this lighting that gives a realistic touch, well some time ago I was doing tests to achieve something like that and make the add-on look much better, although… i did not correctly achieve this goal until some time later

OFFICE DESK

The office desk also had its changes and its early stages although these are not so noticeable at least you will notice that the spider web is different from the official one

CRYING KID

One of the ideas and concepts that were had for the crying boy was that he could be grabbed or something like that, even here you can see some early animations which were evolving

Here you can clearly see the 3 stages that fredbear papercut had, its design was changing in a “drastic” way

Would you believe me if I told you that Mangle was a pain to make? The animations were really ugly and weird, even when I tried to fix it it would bug more lol

TOY CHICA

The toy girl model also had its changes, such as the color, which was somewhat darker, and some other lighter details

Spring bonnie + springlocks

Here there is literally a noticeable change, practically the main idea was to follow the supposed Spring Bonnie colors, at least in my opinion that’s what I thought, although in itself these colors were more based on the old spring bonnie model, a fairly old model, although at least for the better these colors were changing, as was the model

You may have already noticed that the current girl plush is different, but what if I told you that it wasn’t always like this? This is the first version of the girl plush, based on this (the second image), it was practically focused on any plush, although in the end it was changed because it looked a bit strange

Bonnie also had her drastic changes which are defined as, “we didn’t know what peak to do so we opted for more than 10 different ones.”, even some parts of the texture itself were different from the official model
